You can apply for financial assistance any time after submitting an application for enrollment. You will need to apply and submit necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment by no later than February 28, 2019.  You can begin the process at anytime during the year, however, you will need to submit the most current tax return. Applicants can apply online at All applications must be submitted directly to FACTS and the sooner you complete the process, the sooner the Akiba-Schechter Financial Aid Committee can determine if you qualify.

HEEREY SCHOLARSHIP: The Heery Foundation Grant Program at Akiba-Schechter Jewish Day School is a program for 7th grade families that provides full scholarships for qualified students. We are grateful to the Bernard Heerey Family Foundation for providing generous tuition assistance to eligible Akiba-Schechter families. If you are interested in learning more about the Bernard Heerey Family Foundation Scholarship Program and seeing if your family might qualify, please contact the Finance Office.


Grade School Fees include: books and workbooks, classroom supplies, enhanced technology, increased security, most field trips, special occasions and parties.

Preschool + Kindergarten Fees include: classroom supplies and snacks, increased security, most field trips, and special occasions and parties.

PTO Dues: $75 per student / $125 max per family.
